News: Pure Hidden and Fizzball!

Today, Big Fish Games offers you a unique new hidden objects game!

Overview

  • Style: Psychedelic grunge
  • Hidden objects scene graphics: computer drawn
  • Music:nothing remarkable
  • Theme: nothing really; kind of Zen
Unfortunately, that's all I can tell you because that's all I saw before I exited the game. Having seen screenshots ahead of time, I was wary about downloading this game, but I did anyway. Then I played it and my suspicions were confirmed. The first level was so overstimulating and unsettling to look at that I just bailed. I'm sure younger gamers wouldn't have a problem with this. The design matches the grungy look of so many modern websites. To me, it looks like a drug trip. At my age, with so little time, and with so many other high-quality games out there, I personally can't spend time on something that hurts to look at. I wish I had more feedback for you. All I can say is, try the demo and see if you like it. Fortunately, today's Daily Deal delivers the goods. Read on!

Category: Ball-bouncing / brick-breaking
Remember Professor Fizzwizzle from a few days ago? He's back, but this time, he's bouncing balls instead of puzzling.

Have you ever played a brick-breaking game? Fizzball is like that, except instead of breaking bricks with your bouncer, you're breaking crates, fences, and other objects. And instead of a metallic breaker ball, you're shooting a bubble. Animals roam all over the play area. If you hit a small animal, it gets trapped in the bubble, making the bubble bigger - then you can capture bigger animals. You continue in this way until the bubble is much larger than it started. All the while, bonuses fall from the objects which you've broken, and you can catch them with your shooter. Some of them provide temporary upgrades to Fizzwizzle's bubble-bouncer machine. Once you've captured all the animals in the scene ("rescued" them), the level ends.

As in Professor Fizzwizzle and the Molten Mystery, everything in Fizzball is cute, cartoony, and funny. If you like brick-breaking games, I suggest you try this new spin on the genre!
