First, a little bit of personal gaming news.
I hope you grabbed Ancient Quest of Saqqarah the other day when it was on sale for $2.99. This game is really good. I have finished the first two temples (Isis, Thot) and I am now playing the third temple (Anubis, I believe). So far, each temple has had a different style of gameplay. The first temple was a Match-3 variant, but the other temples have been other types of puzzles using the same mechanic of stones on threads which you place in groups to fill in the spaces between them. There's a lot of bang for the buck here, and I'm still consistently pleased with the production values. The voice work is among the best I've heard, the music is good (although a larger soundtrack would be nice), and the puzzling remains fun. And, if you need more Saqqarah goodness, you can go over to the developer's website and purchase SaqPacks, which are expansions for the game with new levels, features, music, etc.
If you didn't get a copy of this game while it was on sale, you should still try it. It's worth it, I think. Now, onto the Daily Deal. Coincidentally, it's another game from Codeminion (the developer of Ancient Quest of Saqqarah, who until a few days ago, I hadn't even heard of):

|Category: Marble Popper|
|While Codeminion had what I think is the best Match-3 variant I've tried (Ancient Quest of Saqqarah), their version of marble popping is lacking. In this version, you have to suction a ball out of the string first, then you shoot it back to create groups of 3 or more. I prefer the traditional style, which eliminates the suction step. I've raved about Luxor 3 before, and I still haven't found anything that comes close to the sweetness that game provides. If you're a marble poppin' freak, then you should try Stoneloops! of Jurassica. Just don't expect another Luxor game.|
